EXP2) Final Model

Combined Axonometrics and Parallel Projection

Theme:

The multicultural students and staff who study or work at UNSW

Concepts:

"Architecture is about events that happen in its space" (Barnard Tschumi)
"Vertical and horizontal dynamics" (Yakov Chernikov)

Electroliquid Aggregation

Concept 1:

The interlocking blocks generate open spaces for the public. The concourse much focuses on the circulation so it assists people for their ease of use but not directly indicate the how to use the space.

Concept 2:

Use of lines not only as decorative structure but also to create balance both within and outside the architecture. Dynamics suggest the link to the functionality that is to be used as a public transport infrastructure.
